Bill Patterson, author of the
Heinlein biography that is the main focus of this blog, died suddenly on April 21, 2014 after a brief illness. While Bill's health had not been great for some years, his sudden passing was unexpected and is a serious loss to the community of those who love and admire Robert A. Heinlein and his work.
Thankfully, Bill had completed final revisions on Volume II,
The Man Who Learned Better, and it's scheduled to for publication June 3.
I will post some more about Bill soon, including some of the fascinating things he shared with me via private message.
